At this time, we are waiting to hear from the system level what the next steps will be in regards to future programming for our students. Information will be communicated as soon as we know more from the Calgary Board of Education. This is a new situation for everyone and we want to assure you that the school will be communicating this information to our families as soon as we have a plan and procedures in place. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

In the meantime, the CBE has put together some resources until a long range plan is in place.  To access the resources, please click on the link:

We will be in contact with everyone again after spring break to provide further updates, but until then here are a few picture book ideas that might inspire you to move or create music:
From Head to Toe by Eric Carle
Silly Sally by Audrey Wood
Oh! by Kevin Henkes

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen (Can you find the rhythm?)

Online Learning: Physical Education & Music

Just as Ken Taylor School classroom teachers are providing learning opportunities and extensions, we would like to provide some optional physical education and music learning. These activities are completely optional and not considered to be apart of your child's 5 hours a week. To help keep things organized, music and physical education activities will be added to your google classrooms. * as we try to plan how to best bring online learning to our students, this page is being updated, with new learning materials coming daily.
